Since the start of the year, Hebron Housing Services has been featured several times in statewide media. These generous insights into our mission and vision include The Waukesha Freeman, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and all four local TV stations.
But perhaps the most notable coverage this past year was WTMJ-4’s Positively Milwaukee hosted by Carole Meekins. The program, known for sharing good news among the Milwaukee Community, featured an entire segment on our executive director Maureen Atwell’s extended stay living in shelter during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. When all hands on deck were needed, Maureen stepped up and never let her guard down until the worst was over. Carole Meekins recognized those efforts and did a wonderful job shedding light on another example of selflessness and hard work in the community around us.
